CMB 67 rotor end play

The gaskets on my 67 are 0.005" use 3 gaskets to have clearence, I cut a small groove on the top part of the Rotor Case Face for lube , had no problems ..

Granted this one's had a bunch of running on it but still, that kinda wear ain't good for the parts or the power. It's the rod that causes the groove, the needles are shorter and just polish the drum and crank. I've also seen lower rod ends wear several thou in width due to this.

I measured the drum OD at about 18mm, hmm...
