Hi y'all, it's been a long time since I posted here and boy has it gotten busy in here. I guess blue is more calming then red.

Now has anyone has replaced the bearings in a fiegao or nemisis motor, the ones with little crimps for the endbell and front plate?

If so can you please post some hints if it is any different or harder than the older non-crimped style?

Please and thanks.

I had to do it the hard way. Pound the shaft on my wood bench to push the rear housing out. I'd love to hear of a beter way too.

Hi Guys,

I know this isn't what you want to hear but..... Drill the crimps out with a 3/32nd bit. The first two crimps you drill one each endbell go deeper into the bell and thread it with a 4/40 tap. Do this BEFORE you drill out all 4 crimps. When you reassemble it you can now use a couple set screws to hold it all together. It sounds worse that it really is. ;)

Paul.
