23CC gas mounted to K&B .67 L/U

Hi I have read an older post that was talking about converting a 23cc gas

to a K&B .67 L/U.

Has anyone else done this? I know Lawless makes a L/U for gas but I dont want to spend more for L/U than i do for a new zenoah motor.

Not looking for speed (I have a K&B .67 tunnel I use for that) want one just to have fun. Would be fun to have something different.

Ballentine sells a lot of nice custome outdrives for I/O but I havent seen much on the gas to OB conversions around.

Are they too heavy for the transom?

Anybody running this type of setup?

Any help would be great.

In the netherlands a member from our club has a QD engine on a MHZ Z drive. This is a gear driven set. Sofar he has been up to 90 km/h (56mph) on a 53" tunnel from Germany.
