    Modified Proboat Hydro Cowl?

Haven't run my boat in a couple of years as its been tucked away under my stairs since my son was born. Happened upon it last night while cleaning up and remembered how much I hate the cowl. Has anyone done any modification to the cowl on the Proboat Hydros that works and looks cleaner? I am...

Just have this engine sitting around and I wanted to see what could be done with some port work to maybe squeeze anything more out of it. Worst case the engine breaks? oh well, its not really being used anyway. Just want to see what I can do. Any tutorials or pictures outlining work that can...

I was wondering if the the JAE .12 would be made to easily take twin .12's? I love the the .12 but wanted more speed :P If possible to do I would be going the way of twin Nova's from Glenn as well as his pipes. Not sure of prop choices (suggestions?) OR has this been done and I am just...

    better then stock proboat pipe

Alright alright, I know there are threads on the new 18quiet pipe from Glenn and Aquacraft but I am wondering what else is out there in roughly (I use that term loosely) the same price range? The boat is a proboat formula hydro with an .18 Go Marine Engine in it. I am looking to replace the...

    better late then never

Paint is being prepped for paint as I type. Changing from the stock red colour to a yellow and blue scheme. Re-did the crappy plastic water tubing inside the boat and used aesthetically pleasing brass tubing in its place. Trying to figure out a way to add some pink foam inside to increase the...

    Newbie battery charging question

:P I have a dynamite prophet 4-8 cell NiCad/NIMH charger and was wondering if it would charge a Sealed Lead Acid 12V 7Ah Battery? Perhaps its a silly question :) If not this charger what would work to get this battery all powered up and ready to go?

I found a bottle of car nitro fuel which has 12% oil in it. Was wondering if regular 2-stroke synthetic oil would work to bring this up to 20% for boat use?

    styrene instead of ply-wood?

Has anyone ever done this when building their rigger? I wonder if this would actually work in the place of plywood. I can get styrene in the same thicknesses as the required ply to build a .12 cheese rigger from Tom. Thoughts?

    building my first boat (Rigger)

Good Day everyone, I have just started working on my very first boat (.12 Cheese from Tom). I am in the process of cutting out templates using 1/4" ply (Easier to make adjustments now, I think). I have a 3/4" piece of ply and some angle aluminum that I am going to use to setup a jig to...
