Newbie battery charging question

I have a dynamite prophet 4-8 cell NiCad/NIMH charger and was wondering if it would charge a Sealed Lead Acid 12V 7Ah Battery?

Perhaps its a silly question

If not this charger what would work to get this battery all powered up and ready to go?

Mike, I don't think so. The charger only puts out 9.6v at around 60-70ma. You need a charger that puts out 12v at around 500 - 600ma to charge that battery. A simple wall charger from Tower Hobby or your local hobby will do. Good luck.

Thats all ive been using on my sealed and bike batteries for years...they are cheap and they work great! (Tower Hobbies)
