Corey just won the D mod shootout and made it into the B Sport shootout sitting 2nd overall in points!

Should be another showdown with the top 6 overall going at it!

Not 100% but I think RP won the B Mod shootout.

Long ride home for bro. Heard motor gremlins keeped from winning gas. Ended up second. Congrats to all the winners. Hopefully they will get the standings up soon. Does any one know if kriss beat brad how did the dragons run Here in the states???

Mary and I had a great time at the race,a big thanks to all the Brandon club members for there hard work. Every time we come to a Brandon race we can count on being treated great with smiles all weekend. Also a great big thanks for the really good pizza lunch provided to everyone today. That was very nice and not expected. Can't wait to come back to Brandon for there next race and of course we'll be back next year for the 4th annual Herb Stewart race. What a great way to remember him. If any tunnel racers missed this one you gotta go next year. You missed a really good time with some great racers attending.

Yeah, what ron said!! I can only echo his comments, as i had a great time - WELL worth the 2200 mile ride. I finally got the meet some people that i knew on IW, but had never been able to lay eyes on. Being able to do that is always one of the high points of my race weekend. A great job by a good club at an awesome sight, i had a great time. Thank all of you for remembering herb this way. I only met herb once, but his enthusiam for the hobby is part of why i came to honor him. Some of the cleanest, tightest racing i have had the pleasure of both watching & participating in. I was also impressed with the number of folks that helped run the race that were either not racing at all, some from neighboring club. Thanx to everyone for letting me have a heluva good time! Rp, great job in the stand & on the tri-oval. GF, you handled any issues very well, good job under pressure ( you made it look MUCH easier than it was). and especially drew & george for sharing their home with me. Did i say i had FUN????

Thanks to all the members of the Brandon Club for hosting all of us and putting on a first class outboard event. "Build it an they will come". Now a true international event and still growing.

Besides the outboard regulars who worked hard to make it happen I want to especially thank Marty Davis, Ed & Barb Knudsen from the Tampa club who worked the whole event. They don't run tunnels and gave us their valuable experience running the race.

Congrats to the winners. Great driving and setup from the best racers in RC boats. Fastest tunnels I have seen at any event.

Kris & Brad (Team Aussie) did their country proud. The Dragons set some fires on the water.

As Ron said sign me up for "round 4".

Thanks to the Brandon club for such an A class event. Me and Mitchell weren't able to make it down till Saturday Night, and the club was still willing to accommodate us and give us a chance at taking home the trophy, since they had to alter the format from what we planned. So big thanks to club pres. Mike Culhane.

Kris and Brad had some very fast and competitive boats and they came prepared. It was great to meet y'all and hang out for the weekend. Kris's Dragons run awesome, taking home alot of wood this weekend. Hope you all can make it back soon to the states.

Congrats Koolaid for the 3 peat. All his boats were in check this weekend and he was on top of it all.

Again thanks everyone for the great time, hope I can make it back down next year.

Great stuff !!! See you all at the nitro Race end of Jan !!

Randy,

Do you have all of the results?

Curious On Who Were The Winners,

Mark Sholund

I just finally finished putting all of the race results into RC Racing Events. You will have to do a little bit of weeding to find out the true winners because you need to take the best 3 out of 5 heats and that's your true score for the weekend. Boy that's a lot of work putting those scores into that program, I never realized it was that involved.

Still recovering from the weekend, my body is definitely hurting after running the retrieval boat for two days but I'm very glad to hear everyone had such a great time and we can't wait to have all of you back next year with hopefully even more people.

We will be doing things a little differently next year, mainly the biggest change is the switch from this being a "1-day event" to a true two day event. It has grown to be such a big race and the heat numbers are now at a 100 that it is just not possible to run one round Saturday and four on Sunday. We will be getting together to set dates for all of the Brandon races here coming up shortly, so we will give everyone plenty of notice to get this race on their schedule.

Thanks again for everyone that came and supported this race and thanks again for the club members who helped out both days especially Barb and Ed K. and Tommy C. And a big thank you to Marty from the Tampa club who was a tremendous help with both CDing and scoring. And of course a thank you isn't complete without thanking the Mod B tunnel head himself who had a perfect score this weekend, Randy Premo, I wouldn't want to do what you have to do, so thank you for not making me do it

Once again another flawless job at CDing, and we hope you'll do it again next year.
