Of course as it better fits the agenda and the sheeple are swallowing it.
In the MSNBC story Peter Williams the chief justice correspondent for NBC (that's means better access than most reporters) stated multiple sources saying the same thing, and you here nothing anymore of the altercation at the school prior to the shootings........

Gene, Every rifle is different, I've had some that liked flat base bullets best(Sierras) and some that liked the boat tails. And others that would digest both with equal accuracy. Powders also give different results in different rifles. I'm kinda picky about my primers and cases also. Flash holes must be on center and deburred and and CCI BR primers are prefered as they have a more stringent inspection process.

Gene Have you tried any of the RL-15 or RL-19 Alliant powders? I've had good results with my 2 current bolt rifles.

Have a look at this study published in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. "Would Banning Firearms Reduce Murder and Suicide? A Review of International and Some Domestic Evidence."

My interpretation is that countries with strict anti-gun laws generally have substantially higher murder rates than those that do not.

An excerpt from the study… “If the mantra more guns equal more death and fewer guns equal less death were true, broad cross-national comparisons should show that nations with higher gun ownership per capita consistently have more death. Nations with higher gun ownership rates, however, do not have higher murder or suicide rates than those with lower gun ownership. Indeed many high gun ownership nations have much lower murder rates.”

Well Ladies and Gents,

After watching 2+ mind numbing hours of the Congressonal hearing on gun control last nite (C-SPAN)

I honestly think its gonna come down to each state as to what they want to put in place.

On the federal level they already have hopeless deadlock on certain issues.

With some being radically misinformed and none can agree on numbers or the stats of gun violence.

I watched the hearing too. I predict a universal background check for all gun sales and inclusion of mentally adjudicated people in the NIC system. I don't think that they will get an "assault rifle" or clip ban through congress at this point.

I just watched that video plus another Piers Morgan one with Newt Gingrich. OK, Piers is an idiot as he doesn't let his guests speak their minds without interruption. it was laughable as he thinks that we shouldn't be able to own rifles that can hold more than 10 rounds yet thinks that pistols are OK. The moron doesn't realize that you can also get up to 30-round clips for those also. The so-call "Assault" rifles are nothing more than a regular rifle with the looks of illegal firearms. It's bascially the same as what makes a Chevy a GMC, Pontiac, Olds (in the old days) or Buick; swap some plastic around and call it something else yet the same underneath.

They were using drum mags of 50 and 100.

Never saw a 50 rd clip before , have seen 25 rd bannas though.

You could have higher cap mags in rimfire vs center fire in Canada. Not sure now though.
