Ryan Gwin Scammer pay my friend is money back be a man.
Oh no!!!

Luc,

Who has Ryan scammed now???? I tried really hard on his for sale threads here and on a second one, to keep him from scamming someone on IW. I knew what was coming after all of the PM's I received about him.......

Beau,

Only problem, this thread can't be deleted as it is the only proof the guy that bought an engine from Ryan has, and deleting certain posts leaves the door open for him to do it again. Whoever purchased the engine has not come forward. If they do, and they were to get their merchandise, then both of his threads could go away.

OK, I'm the guy who bought the engine and I got scammed !! I paid him on Visa and he has been reported and they are taking care of me . The problem here , Mr Ron Shaw , is I paid him before your 1st post came out so how was I to know about this guy ?? Not blaming you Ron , was just bad timing . Ryan said I would receive motor yesterday (never came) , which was no big deal but I left him many PM'S and messages on the phone and he didn't even return my calls or messages , what's with that ?? This guy thinks he's going to take people's money and keep merchantdise , this is totally outrageous and he can't get away with this , how does a guy like that get on Jim's or IW ?? Bill

i gave this guy, Ryan the benefit- of- the -doubt , thinking maybe Ron Shaw is mistaken and also thinking everyone deserves a 2nd chance ,also i had already paid him , well i got burned and you, Mr Ron Shaw were correct, BILL

Dang Bill,

i am sorry to hear your transaction went south. Thankfully you purchased with a credit card so you should be covered. They will notify him and he will need to either deliver the product or be charged a credit against his account. Hopefully one or the other will happen for you.

I knew something was up with this guy as soon as he posted. How can someone as knowledgeable as he is about boats, racing, club member in Colorado, dealer, etc have no posts on IW and a new member? I was interested in what he was listing so I started asking questions. Several people contacted me and warnings came from all directions. I then researched and found he used to be a member under a different screen name on IW but was kicked off, and that he had stuck several people here and on JRCBD. Thats when I started posting the warnings. I am sorry I wasn't able to get them posted in time to save you from having to deal with him. I hope the moderators and administrators keep this thread open and deal with this guy accordingly once everything is done. There is still a chance that with all of the negative publicity and pressure from the credit card company that he will eventually ship you what was purchased. Good luck.

Good job Ron. I'm glad there are very astute people on here to help protect us. Thanks Tom Oh yeah, Sorry you got stung Bill. He WILL get his.

Question for all you guys , is Ryan Gwin his real name , how long has he been around scamming people?? I think and hope this is a rare event , I've been around here and Jim's for a long time and I always wondered if this could happen , let's all do like Ron Shaw and be sure to expose these sick wackos as best as we can , Bill

Guys, tell me if you all agree, what mr Ryan Gwin doesn't seem to understand is once buyer pays money , seller is responsible to get merchantdise into buyers hands and is responsible completely till that happens . If seller has problem with shipper then that is between them to work out , buyer should be compensated , period , Bill

All boaters should look very carefully at the photos of the Nelson engine posted. The brass piece you see between the case & the head button is from the oldest model engine. All liners are made of aluminum now & the lip of the liner is .200" thick. Also if it is a .45 long stroke engine it would have a balanced flywheel & an exhaust adaptor piece between the engine & tuned pipe header. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Guys , I counted , I left him 15 PM'S and 4 phone messages yesterday , he didn't respond to one , he's a very stupid low life , he hasn't learned there's no such thing as a free lunch , Bill
