Walt,

We delivered that boat in Dec. 2004. It appears that the parts are still sealed in the original sealed bags.

I checked the invoice of the buyer. He is in Clearwater where the ebay listing says the seller is located.

The invoice listed servos and battery pack also.

At 5 times the current bid the seller would loose money.

Andy,

Would that happen to be a ramped drum valve motor at the end of 04'?

I did ask the seller and she didn't know. She told me she never took it apart,

And I wouldn't ask her to.But you might know.

Thanks!

Don't know what the final outcome and cost will be yet.

And I really need that boat like a hole in my head.

I've got an awsome 80SGX and a 60/80 SG already.

That boat is definatly tempting though.

What a beautiful boat!

Also got my fuel this week too. :)

Thanks!

Yes Walt, that would have been the last of the MAC 67's to come out of Italy.

I,ve been telling John I want one painted with that 'Red Rocket Speed Wagon Roger Hooks Jr. Signature" paint scheme.

But I've yet to get one. :-( .....and some of you think you wait a long time for stuff. lol

I may just have to bid on that one.

It's just a pity that money order/cashier's check is the only accepted form of payment and that shipping is $50.

I would never complain about $50.00 shipping for that type of item, you want it to arrive safely. It would probably cost $15.00 just for the box and supplies to make it protected, and $30.00 for UPS $50.00 is very fair.

The $1000 reserve surprised me too.

I know that no one will be able to buy it for that though.

The price will only rise from there.

Walt needs a new boat, he put a scratch in his SG 45 yesterday!

He got real lucky as it could have been a LOT worse. We chased it across the lake when he lost radio contact. He was relieved to see that it only had the one tiny scratch, we expected pieces.

Your not kidding.

Got real lucky.

Also learned a valuable lesson.

PCM failsafes aren't automatic like the Venoms.

Gotta set em from boat to boat.I know that too.

A recent switch from JR to Futaba PCM,

a lack of brains and a low TX

battery could have gone real bad.

The boat did slow, but not stall.

Luck was on our side,it had a clear path to the other side.

A semi-soft hit and just a 1/4"scratch.Phew!

I think my heart stopped for a bit.

Got lucky this time, there better not be a next.

And thanks for the short cut to get it Ron.

Also thanks for all of your efforts at the fun run.

Had a good time and enjoyed meeting the gang.

Just noticed the $50 shipping, seems a bit much for an unassembled rigger even with insurance going UPS ground but with a low reserve it might not matter much.
