Has any one run one of theses eng yet?

I will have one of the three that are coming to the US in my hands next week end.

Could use some input from any one that has run one.

Brutus will be trying some thing new.

David

I asked that in the 90 bi-metal post. I haven't heard anything!!

As Mark S would say..... Good Luck With Testing.

I'm sure many are interested.

David,

Where are you getting your engine from? Just curious. There is a new OPS distributor here in the states now, just wondering if that's where yours is coming from..

Carl

my partner is getting it from gotnitro for a project we are doing.

I am going to break the eng in and test it in my Eagle SGX to tune.

Should find out what is what compared to a modded CMB 1.01 real quick.

Will post pics and test result with logs of the performanc as I go.

Give it a chance David. Start with 40% nitro -22% oil and .018" H.C.. Add a small prop, very rich needle and no more than 3/4 throttle for the first couple of tanks...and then SLOWLY work your way up.

Yeah, I just found them earlier this week. The web address is http://www.gotnitroonline.com . I've talked with Dave several times about getting parts for mine. I'm glad to see someone stateside finally being the distributor for OPS. Keep us posted with the results of the 120, like to see how it does.

I will take my time with this one. no mods to the eng will run it as it comes with just the H.C. adjustment if needed.

I am mixing my own fuel now so can make it the way I want.

I will not run any more than 40% even after the break in.

Not looking for the limit on this eng.

Have a Hyperformance V drive we are having custom gears made for to try over driving the prop.

Need torque to run it not RPMs.

Will be building up a RCMK R-254 to run on a glow plug also to test.

This will fit in the same mount in the boat.

Looking forward to your results. For the money, their new .90 could be a good engine if I build a twin this winter. Not looking for max power, but reliable, consistent performance.

Well It is on its way finally.

here are the specks as sent by gotnitro. 7.15HP at 28000RPM

Sound good will see what is what.

Well never got my hands on one of the first batch.

My buddy is holding it ransom like the Lindberg baby. <_<

I think he is afraid of what I will do to it.

But talked with Dave From Gotnitro and there will be a new batch in next week.

Headed Dave from Gotnitro to are little community to post his info.

Hope to have one soon for testing.

Now all I need is my new Eagle to put it in. Hint Hint

Have already named it.

MAXIMUS
