Hey boaters! Make sure to call out here saying you are coming or email your registration for the race in soon. We have head lots of boaters talking about coming, but aren't getting a lot of confirmations. We will need those in order to set the gas card/trophy classes. AND Not only is there a new and bigger/better drivers stand at the lake, we have also removed a LARGE portion of the peninsula to gain more depth to the lake. Come back or come for the first time and check it out for yourself! See ya on Independence Day (or just regular ol' July 4th for our friends up north of the boarder!)

Got em guys! We look forward to seeing you! With emails and call outs on here we are up to 21 boaters. I will get a list of boats/classes up soon. Registration is still open and will be up until race day!

For those of you that don't know...our club has gained permission to use a bigger motor on the lake in our retrieve boat so racing action will run smoother and quicker than before when we just had the trolling motor!

So just for your information, here are the improvements we have made since last year:

Bigger motor on retrieve boat, Bigger, wider, taller drivers stand, and the majority of the peninsula in turn 2 has been completely taken out to widen the turn.

Also wanted to update everyone on where we sit as far as classes go.... Looks like as of today, we will have enough boats to field RTR, B sport Tunnel, Sport 40, Thunderboat, Scale classes. We would love to have a couple more Sport 20's to offer that $50 gas card prize! Gas Cat, Gas Scale, Open Gas and Open Nitro may not run if we can not get more entries for those classes. Come on guys...if ya gotta 'em, we wanna run 'em!

Because this is included in the Madison Regattta festivies, we are hoping to have a large spectator turnout so we want to give them the best show possible!

Would like to let everyone know also that a local high school basketball boosters group will be out at the lake selling concessions this year. I believe they will have hot dogs, bbq sandwiches, chips and ice cold drinks!

Karla, Scott's son's name is Grant...He is a great kid and is very enthusiastic about racing rc boats!

Scott races in our Dist. ...He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet!
