    Ive welded pipes using the stuff & it holds up allright, a bit of a pain to get it done but needs to be polished up afterward. Propane will do pipes but the heavier stuff takes more heat. Heliarc is the best way but the material is so thin on a pipe & makes the job next to inmpossible using this...

    I also learned a lesson on headbolts on the new engines, they are exposed in the water jacket, popped heads off 2 of them due to rust . I will spray wd 40 in the water line from now on & I also changed the bolts to stainless. mike

    This JR radio is BUNK!

    You have the mixing feature turned on, it should be off in the default position, Id reset the whole thing & start over, I've had 2 of them for a year & they are a pain to set up sometimes but the features are nice

    Steve, I put my reply in the wrong section ha!! was wondering is that turntable sitting on a bridgeport?? Made most all of my hardware in the days gone by, mainly out of necessity ha!!

    Rod, The rigger is built by a guy here locally, kind of resembles a roadrunner but it has differences, the 1467 is ok with a bit of bending have a 1667 to try this season if the wind ever dies down ha!! The boat recovers quickly out of a turn, so think I need more prop ha!! also the pipe length...

    67 cmb pipe length

    pipe length on 67 greenhead & bigbelly pipe in my rigger is 11 inches pulling 1467 octura worked, radars 73 + with this setup, boat weighs a bit over 7 1/2 pounds.

    Several of our guys use them, & have for a year or so. Makes it very handy to be able to change frequencies when theres a conflict at the lake...........
