This may be intended more for IMPBA and NAMBA directors but anyone who knows the answer please reply.

Are the new breed of radios, those that are channel changeable without changing crystals (I think they are "Synthesized"), authorized for use in both IMPBA and NAMBA sanctioned events? If not, have the organizations mentioned when they plan to allow them at events?

i used one all last year in impba. it should not matter. they are on legal freq.

Several of our guys use them, & have for a year or so. Makes it very handy to be able to change frequencies when theres a conflict at the lake...........
