Hi Jay p Powersurge products produced a .12 size nitro turn thats with in a 1/16'' of the paper pattern on the drawing but i have a suspicion they may longer be produced also check with Fine design or www.offshoreelectrics.com. Regards Andris Golts.

Thanks Andris. Is this the fin you were referring to: http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/accessories/index.html

Offshore electrics has a carbon fin, but I am not familiar with them. Do you sharpen the edge like you would with aluminum?......JayP
Hi Jay p i have never worked with carbon fiber i would say yes to sharpening the right side edge of the fin as you would an metal fin maybe some one who has had experience with carbon fiber could jump in and suggest the best method. Regards Andris Golts

The "Virgina Craftsman" i.e Dick Tyndall is your best source.

Search the board, you will find him.

All the best,

Ray

if you're talking about the fuller's turn fin that steve carries, you won't have to sharpen it. the problem is the fact that it's a straight fin, no bend. an aluminum fin would allow you to put a bend into it. i don't know of any carbon fins that come pre-bent.
