where to buy roundnose drop sponson 1/8 fibreglass

Hi guys I am new at this forum need help I am wanting to build a 1/8 scale boat

looking at 1964 - 1971 miss madison who would make this boat in fibre glass,

any info would help eg web sights any one I can email also finding it hard to find paint codes

you could always make one out of a normal Round nose mate <_<

Here are some picks of a backup Scalie that ive been working on when i need time out from other projects

All that has been done is shes been hit with a o.5mm cutoff wheel on a grinder to take the same line from the sides right up to the nose.

them removed the left and right sponson decks

then refilled in the sides with ply that will now be the outer where the sponsons have been dropped .Glass her up both sides to seal the ply from water .

fab some ribs and stringers to suport the outer decks once you refit them .

Fit the decks back on and clean up all edges.

You will se what i meen in the picks .

You will see in the 3rd pick ive left a little window on both sides to get to the turn fin plate if need be and any repairs the may need to be done later and also to let her breath and dry out .

IT took me about 3 nights after work at about 3-4 hours with rude interruptions from my pergnet wife :angry:
