Can't do it right now. As soon as the paint cures for another week then I can hang all the new stuff on it then get the weight and CG.

A while back I did something REALLY stupid, I took a file to my OS 21 Xm exaughst port with out a measurement. I just ground until I though it looked good. MAN, I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT KIND OF SMOKE COME OUT AN ENGINE BEFORE!!!! I looked at my NEW piston and sleeve last night, and was wondering how much could I get away with without going to far. I now have a digital caliper, so I can get exact measurements.

Billy thats it!!! We will have to do the stupid things we have done post.

Billy if i might goof on you...OK i will.....Haaaaaaaaaahahahahah

This is only funny because i remember a kid in his early days doing the same thing...ill never tell who it was 8)

Grimsider 8)

Now I wonder who that might now????? Hummmmm????

I went back and measured the amount taken off..... man I must have had a beer or two before I did it.... 24 thousandths!!!!! HEhehehe!!!! Now that is radical modification!!!! Made a great smoke machine though!!!!

Come on, Mike.. You can't start something and not contribute. ;D

I don't believe for a second that you don't know the measurements of your boat by heart.. ;)

Charley

HTB 260 (26")

-CMB Greenhead no mods except headclearence of .0065

-Carbon Fiber pipe out of Australia

-Lawless with cut skeg

-Standard engine mount

-onboard mixture contoller by Precision Boats

-A few ounces up front

-2 or 3 pos. degrees on the foot angle

-Ugly paint job-shiny yellow first then add a years worth of grime

-a few spots of epoxy putty for love taps

and you get a boat that has been radared at 50 mph(maybe more??).

my connecting rod has worn though, so Precision will be fixin' it up for me soon.

Mississippi water never gets to cold to run... just the wuss drivers who stay at home and whine.... hehehehe!!!!!

Hi Gene,

I love mine.. Mike Crawford builds a great boat.. No tricks so far. I don't know any ;D!!! And talk about easy to setup.. I set the prop 1/8" above sponsons and slightyly negative angle and away it went. No weight, no wings, no fuss.

If I ever figure out how to tune an engine I hope to race consistently.

I'll see if I can find any pics of mine running. I know I had a couple.

Charley

Mike,

I knew you knew.. ;D

Sure.. Post some mph numbers.. Give us mere mortals something to shoot for..

Charley

Ne-Ner-Ne-Ner-Ne-Ner

I gotta get with Tom about the "members pics page" when he gets back online.
