tuned pipe length

I am working on getting my avenger going with an andy brown modded ops 90.It will be running 50% nitro and am wondering what length to start at with the pipe. From plug to weld. Also where are you guys putting the pressure tap on the pipe by the weld or down on the header manifold so the silicone tube isnt running so far and looking like crap.

11 1/4 thru 12 should be a good start i would say..

Put the pressure tap as close to the widest point of the pipe as you can.

That is where you get the most consistent pipe pressure.

it depends on your exhaust timing & how big of a prop you plan on pulling,

I wouldn't start any shorter that 11-1/2".JMHO
