I was at U2 "Joshua Tree Tour" last night here at the Rose Bowl, they played "Black Hole Sun" recording (over the PA system) just before the band came out on stage as a tribute to Chris Cornell.

According to what I've heard on the radio and found on the web, TP died of cardiac arrest earlier today. He was found unconscious in his home and was taken to a hospital and placed on life support. When a "do not resuscitate" order was found, the life support equipment was turned off. He, unfortunately, passed on a short time later. Like many others, he and his music will be missed. RIP
