Friends, I have a NIB 40 Cobalt Marine Astrofligth racing motor and I want to set up an outboard over OS leg initially with HP Adapter & Astro 207D esc on a VS1.

The specifications are:

Engine: Running Voltage 12 to 18 volts

Running Current 5 to 35 Amps

Running Power 60 to 500 Watts

Prop Size 40 to 50 mm

Constant Speed 800 rpm per volt

Way more motor than you can use. I use to run astro FAI motors with 12 cells. Those were 5 turn motors as I recall. Man its been 20 yrs. I used to run direct drive with 1750 or 2047 props. Real fast but just was no class back then. That motor you have can take more prop than you can fit on that lower. Good luck. Hell the worst that can happen is itdont work.
 
Hi Mike!! i `ll study move it on 7.5 k&b leg and play with 14.8volt 5500mha to fun! more close for P spec! and bigger hull of course! Thanks Man!
