What brands/types of silicone do you use to seal up the strut opening throught the bottom of a sport hydro?

Something that will seal, but yet be flexible for strut adjustments without breaking or needing to be resealed...

Thanks,

Garrett

Garrett, I have yet to seal up a single one of my struts on my sport 20 boats. And I dont seem to have any issues with water getting in the inside of the boat, unless Im left setting dead in the water.

Rodney ive seen more guys sell a boat that would not run over this issue than i can count on one hand. For some reason the PT sport 40 is the worst, shoots water right up to the carb....

KEN

HAS IT RIGHT SLIPPERY BUT DOESNT WASH OFF TO EASY

All RTV silicone will work but the problem is almost all RTV silicone will cure in the tube after a year or two even if you did not open it. I have a tube of Loctite brand RTV silicone for 5 years now and it is still fresh!! I will be buying the same.
