Anybody make a spanner for the flat black flywheels on the CMB engines. I need one for an older 67.

Catch a Snap-on or Mac tool man and ask him for an adjustable face pin spanner wrench. they come in several sizes, the small one works well on the cmb flywheels.

If you have a hack saw and a dremel, you can make a spanner in about 5

minutes. Take a piece of alum. flat 1/8 th inch.x 4 inch. Mark out your flywheel

and holes around your collet on paper, transfer to alum. piece. Ruff cut alum.

piece to those specs, drill holes to mate flywheel holes, tap&drill to flywheel

hole sizes. Run bolts into tapped holes as deep as needed to hold flywheel.

Hope this helps,

Mark

Here is a shot of the one I modified for my use. Link

It can be use on 2 or 3 holed flywheels. I have used it from a 21 to a 90. Works great. By tightening down the adjustment bolt, it will not fall off. It is a battery post puller. I did a little mod to the fingers with a file to match the holes better.
