Brian a very long time boater passed away Friday at 1:30 PM. Last Oct. he was fine and looking forward to his annual trip to Ari. then FL. Around Thanksgiving while in Arizona visiting his kids, he was diagnosed with a very fast growing brain tumor. They operated on him and said if he didn't have the surgery,he would not make it to Christmas. All went well until 2 weeks ago when the doctors told his family he had less than 2 months. Unfortunately it was only 2 weeks. He was a member of the STNYRCB club in Elmira NY Dist 1. Please say a prayer for him and his family and keep him in your thoughts. He was a GREAT guy and will be greatly missed. We will race again Brian.

Sad news, Brian was a class act. Always have a smile on his face and a front row seat at the STNYRCB races. Family in our prayers, Ray and Di. :(

We've know Brian 20+ years and he was always at the races with a smile and a helping hand to all. He will be missed by all in District 1 racing.

Rest In Peace, Brian.

If I recall correctly, Brian raced at our track in Brandon, along with Pete (Forcier) and was a avid Tunnel racer.

The BMB sends their condolences to the Smith family.

Godspeed.
