Hi Guys,

I've shared with some of you in the past that we often have to brave the rough water at our club dam here in Cape Town, South Africa.

This is because from November through Feb/March we have our South-Easter blowing most days (specially in the afternoons) across the dam towards the side where we race from. The photos below of boat #1, #2 and #4 are from one of the last 7.5cc OB tunnel heats last Saturday, with boat #5 being from one of the gas inboard tunnel heats. Fortunately the wind was not a problem during the morning which allowed us some really good water during the earlier heats.

Yeeep , thanks Dion .
Hi Andy, Sorry, I should have cottoned onto that, as the photographer that took these photos uses the same professional level cameras as my son does. I don't know the actual make and model of Colin Brown's cameras but my son uses a Conon 5D Mk-II Digital SLR and a 6D Digital SLR.

Cheers,

Wennie.

Great shots, thanks for sharing Wennie .

Cheers Mate .
