Hi all, I will be shortly painting some timber boats that I have, now I won't be painting the entire boat as I want to retain some of the timber look, so it will just be feature colours here and there, my question is, is it wise to clear the whole boat first then start adding colour on the clear (then clear once all the colours are added) or doesn't it matter? Thanks (the boat had been sealed with epoxy)

You can probably get away with just taping off the areas you want to leave as wood and shoot the rest with color. Once that is done clear the whole boat and you should be done

You should beable to tape off scuff, prim, paint then clear the hole thing.just do good prep .If you are putting any stickers on you can clear over them to at the same time .
