Whats the differance between the super pro the semi pro and the pro the 7.5

Believe I was told pro (Air-cooled) ran too hot when piped, which was the reason for the Semi-Pro (water-cooled). They are the same other than that, as far as I'm aware.

Better yet put water cooled jacket on air cooled head...Got to do a little machine work

The air cooled block is different. Im not sure what parts interchange

Not stepping on toes at all Brandon so your saying the best would be the semi pro? have a back up boat right now want to make sure it has a good engine on it

Was on it last night the 8701 8702 and 8703 there out of the semi and the pro they have, not in any hurry for the engine any ways just need some questions answered

Robert, you must be going to some other website (mecca??) Mecoa shows ALL 7.5 engines "out of stock", if ordered, you will be notified when available. Actually, they show NO outboards as in stock at this time - regardless of size )-:

Pro-----air cooled w/muffler 3hp

Super Pro---water cooled w/muffler 3hp

Semi Pro----water cooled exhaust routed through lower unit (no muffler) 2.65hp
