We have a group going this year from Evansville and we are shipping common carrier. I need to find a business close by with a dock and willing to let us ship a pallet. Any help from the Great Northwest would be appreciated. If you can help pm me please

Have you talked to UPS yet? There are UPS sites in Marysville and Everett that may work. You might contact the guy from UNW that shipped your boat home last time, his company may be willing

I guess you missed the part about sending it freight on a pallet? Sending 5 or 6 ups don't work for us this time

That's why I also said to check with the one that shipped your boat home last time. He may be able to set up something through his job

Mike - I'm still looking but I don't have any one that I can think of that can manage this for you

Any chance you could just pick up and ship from the carriers Seattle wharehouse

Marty

You don't need one as long as you run some sort of scale hydro. Just come on out and enjoy a weekend of racing

Marysville Washington at Twin Lakes Park, October 10-11. There are a couple of hotels close by if anyone wants info on them. Marty may be working on getting a boater's group rate, he can fill us in on that one if that is the case

My son Brian that came last time and a couple others if I can get them to step up

Looks like racing is on the North Pond so the Brandts will be there. North pond is where 2014 Namba Nats were held.

Here you go, Mike, six local hotels:

The Medalion Hotel http://medallionhotel1.reachlocal.net This was the HQ hotel from the NAMBA NAT's last year

Quality Inn, 5200 172nd Street N.E., Arlington, WA (360) 403-7222

Tulalip Casino & Resort http://www.tulalipresortcasino.com/Resort

Angel of the Winds Hotel & Casino https://www.angelofthewinds.com/

Village Inn & Suites http://www.villageinnsuite.com/

Comfort Inn, 6311 33rd Ave NE, Marysville, WA (360) 658-1339

All the listed hotels have restaurants either on site or close by.

The Village and Comfort Inn are the furthest away from the race site at roughly seven miles. The Village is within walking distance to the Quil Ceda Creek Casino while the Comfort Inn is right across the street

Angel of the Winds and Tulalip Resorts are roughly five miles away, one north and one south. Not sure about AotW but Tulalip does have RV parking if you don't mind dry camping

Quality Inn is across the freeway roughly two miles away

Medalion Hotel is right across the freeway, roughly a mile away.

There are also some campgrounds and state parks with camping within a 10 mile radius for those that would like to bring RVs and want partial or full hookups

For those wanting to save a little on lodging, the Quality Inn and Village are both fairly nice and cost a bit less per night than the Medalion or the casinos. As for the casinos, if you wish to partake, be advised that they are owned by the local native American tribes and are therefore smoking allowed facilities and have tended to be very smoky. This is in contrast to non-tribal businesses that must adhere to state laws that require smokers to be outside the building and further than 25 feet from any entrance or window

Did I miss anything Marty?

Thanks for the Info Mark

Last time was great and met many fine racers. bringing two boats this time!

Gotta test our midwest scales against the big boys out there!

Brian

Not a problem Brian. Since I live in the area, getting a list together was no big deal. I didn't find out what the prices are since I don't know what Marty and Al have in mind or if they are working on trying to get a group discount at one of the hotels
