I build them he paints them. Here are some pictures of my new one. And I painted it.

Say Mark, is this the one you had for sale earlier this year and you decided to finish it out?

No still got that boat. And it is still for sell at the same price as listed. This is the boat that I have been building for about two years. The only difference in the two boats is the front end. The front boom tube is fixed on the old boat and the new boat has the front end adjustable at all four places where the tubes mount. All this does is make it a little easier to set up the boat.

And yes John had to change the cowl to clear the carbs.

Assembly in progress today in Decatur

The boat has Delrin adjuster blocks with 4 point adjustment. Delrin motor mount. Delrin blocks for the Bob Violet mixture control mounts to reduce vibration of the mixture needles.

Straps placed to contro fuel lines. Brass tubing running on both sides of the central motor mount for pipe pressure running through the radio box and terminating close the pipes

Aluminum tubing carrying the water lines through the radio box.

Just some of the detail in an SST TWIN.

Angles set on the front and rear sponsons and struts are set.

Will have a SERVOX rudder servo about 500 in/oz of torque.

nice boat. How do you actually make sponson adjustments? Do you add shims under the mounting blocks? Or use various size mounting blocks?
