Could anyone tell me what the O.D. is on the carb that goes in the Nelson longstroke 45 O.B. I beleave its a lil larger than the short stroke engine.

John first generation long or second ? I think there's a size difference between the two , I'll measure mine tomorrow. If Terry has his here I 'll measure that one to

The .4724" air bleed carburetor that comes with the magic muffler measure .7255". The piece I machined to adapt the OS MAX 9-b carburetor measures .7285". If you're machining this piece, a great amount of clean up work can be done at the base to improve the mass flow at this point. Both pieces use an "O" ring to ensure a positive seal.

My motor has 0.650 od but like I said it was the first generation even the cranks is different.
