Lexan / POLYCARBONATE is it fuel proof ?

Is lexan or polycarbonate fuel proof or does it get marred by the higher nitro content? Thanks Tony J

My experience with lexan is that it turns white/cloudy when fuel is spilled on it.

Ron i had that trouble with regular plastic turning white never with the good lexan thats all i use now.

Tony we have used it for 10 years you will need to wipe it off before clean it alchol or it will etch

tony, my experience has been the same as pete's. higher nitro will leave marks, if not cleaned off promptly. use alcohol to clean, as some solvents will turn it cloudy.

As far as high nitro content I can't say for sure but it's the same stuff that's used on RC car bodies so I know that it will take 30%. Paint for polycarb bodies should help, just paint it on the inside.
