Use to follow Brian Callahan's career so also whatever he had to say twenty some years ago. Last I heard he was doing some studying in Ireland, I believe. They did some studying on nitro engines and figured with the different nitro content what the best percentage was for different size engines. Due to the speed of the flame/burn across given distances. Don't remember what the numbers were, like 75% for .21's, 50% for .45's and 35% for the .67 engines. Said that any higher percentage since the fuel didn't get fully burned before exiting the engine didn't do anything more than cool the engine.
Hoping someone can confirm or correct those numbers for me. And, clue me in on what he's been up to since then???
