I just wanted to post some pictures of my progress with the JAE 45 plans. I am working on developing a laser cut kit from the plans. I dropped the first one off to Jose Ortiz aka Piston 1 today. With his vast experience he is going to help me work out any kinks with the kit. Where possible I tried to incorporate the toy tab principle. The transom is a lamination of two toy tabbed 1/8 pieces with a finishing non-tabbed 1/8 piece. The tub sides are 1/8th with a 1/16 skin to make the 3/16 thickness. The bottom is precut for the stuffing tubes. Also I hope to cut some delrin motor mounts soon. Slow but steady!!!
