new JAE sponson parts from zippkits, this is a post from joe on another forum... hope this is ok to share...

We are working on new sponson pins for all of our JAE boats.

These will be optional as the kits will still include the brass tubes.

These T-6 aluminum pins are hollow to accept the boom tubes and get glued into the sponson.

The small head prevents them from being pulled out and there is no need to "pin" the boom tubes.

The head is solid so it will add some bling as well.

Have several JAE .45s built now... one more for customer and one for me...11 hulls this winter...ugh 2 more... THANKS for all the hints and tips guys!!!
 
Hi guys Im tryimg a new approach with tje sponson problem. Im leaving a short brass tube in the sponson like the way the hull is. Im using the tube clamps to both sides and modding them so they will be more arowdinamic. No more pulling freekin tubes! later Charlie
