Need ideas for the starter. Never had a boat before that required a starter belt, want to see some pics of your set ups

Some guys run the belt around the flywheel and header and pull straight up with there electric starter, others come out under the header and pull to the side.

Whitch ever works best for you and each boat.

Hope that hleps.

Im wanting to see the starter itself. In the heli scene, alot of guys use a regular prop plane starter with a pair of 7.2v packs attached. Since Ive only had a tunnel and gas cats, the inboard stuff is new.

Here's my starter setup:

Thats what Im talking about! Very nice set up, whats the starter and handle brand?

The handle is a Speedmaster, and will work with most standard size starters. My starter is a generic unknown I found at a yard sale, but it fits the handle and works perfectly. If you're wanting to get a good starter, get a Sullivan. Get the handle HERE.
