It's not called the Geraghty Challenge, it's known as "Size Matters" as it's sponsored by others including Zippkits.

Bascially it's the high pooints combined between 2 different 'rigger classes, one must be the "A" (.12) class and you choice of any other. You can compete in both classes or team up with one another. You can enter online but I believe that you notify them at the event that you're competing for the trophy.

Don if you would like to enter this class, I can send you my boat and radio. Let me know.

Kentley

Don,

You should take Kentley up on his offer and bring

the best boat that you can to "The Geraghty Challenge".

It should be a great learning experience for us all to

see the new technolgy in a G-3. :D

This Will Be A Great Race,

Mark Sholund

JUDY JUDY JUDY....... I just want to see all those fast boats run thru the chop of my 55mph turd...... Flash your head lights as you go by plz

Good luck to all who are testing today! If she gets on pipe, take some video.

Also good luck to Mr. Truex, ill be screaming in the stands today! With all the lakes around here you ought to be able to sneak a run in :)

Jeff,

I think your propeller is possibly too big (diameter)

And it may have too much cup in it. (2.90" to 3.33")

36 to 37 mm in diameter and 2.90" to 3.33" of cup are

very fast numbers with the right pipe at the correct

length.

I heard the boat would not come up on pipe today?

What pipe are you trying to run? How long?

Just Trying To Help You Out,

Mark Sholund

I tested 12 different propellers today and found out

some very interesting numbers that work very well on

my set up. Had my Stalker Pro feeding me some good

numbers Don. :D

Good Luck Testing Tomorrow,

Mark Sholund

Thanks Mark! Yes the prop in the video has too much cup. I am going to try to get the pipe

Shorter, but its an outboard J pipe, so ill have to hack it upland put a header on it.

Huh?

Jeff,

I must of got some wrong information. Did the motor pipe up easy?

The right pipe and the correct length is a lot of the tuning on a

12 and 21 motor. I must have over 50 pipes just for my 21's, and I

have a nice collection of 12 pipes already(about ten of them). The

right back pressure and volume sure makes a difference on these little

motors.

Have Fun Testing,

Mark Sholund

Ok fellas Ive been on travel for work this weekend, so i couldnt test. Let those little motors scream and lets get ready for Hobart only 9 DAYS LEFT!

Im going to run my newly rebuilt .12 as soon as I get back.
