Marty,

So was Jim's X-438 L/C faster than your 1440 L/C ?

Curious On The Test Results?

They are about the same, I think. Hard to tell without a radar. The one you sent me was definitely faster on Jim's rigger. Maybe a little faster on mine as well. Need to get a radar on them. I'll try at the next fun run.

Marty,

We were out playing with 12-hydros this weekend and I will

tell you the Newest 1515 Game Changer was 6 MPH faster than the 40 x 53 L/C.

It looks like the 1515 worked very well on a Vision 21 tunnel also in weekend testing.

Just letting you know what is working Very Well here in the Midwest part of the country.

I had a reduced 1615 on my boat and it was VERY FAST in testing this morning.

Thanks For Reading,

Mark Sholund

Martin,

Did not have the Stalker radar gun with me this morning, but I am

sure the boat has never went that fast yet. Still testing the new propellers

on the 12 and 21 JAE's. I will see if I can convince my wife to come and shoot

some video of it running.

I here that you have the 1819 running quite well on your 21-Hydro?

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

I was finally able to test Marks 1515 yesterday. It went about 4 mph faster than my Sholund prepped 40 x 53. I was in heat racing trim on the radar at 65 mph with the 1515. I was at 61 with the 40 x 53. I am actually worried it's a little to fast now for heat racing. (If that's possible :) I guess I will find out next week at Hobart.

Greg,

We are making a longer 12 boat for next year.

With the motors getting better and the propellers getting better I think

a longer boat is going to be an advantage. Marty's Hammerhead 12

I believe is 30" long right now. You can see with some of the video that his

length is not hurting his speed at all. You will find that top end speed is

Good for record trials, but not always good for heat racing.

I heard the H-5 is working pretty good also on the 21?

Good Luck In Hobart,

Thanks Mark. Yes the H5 you did for us is working very well on the .21 boat. Thanks again.
I think your onto something with a longer .12 boat for the newer props and motors. I also think a deeper turn fin and rudder may be necessary as well for heat racing.
