Gas scale motor

Going to be building the ml boateorks kit Olympia beer gas scale and need help with motor choice, Need to know has anyone built a similar hull with a side exhaust? Can it be done and does anyone have some pictures of one? Thanks in advance for any and all help

When the gas scale class first started, the only engines available were side exhaust. As far as what engine to buy, that's like asking Ford/Dodge/Chevy/Toyota when looking at buying a truck. You're going to get multiple brands and models thrown at you

Yes you are correct sir I'm more concerned about side exhaust if it will fit because I have a cc racing monster motor in my backlash and it is awesome thanks
