Gas scale 8255 build w/ first time builder.

Okay, I'm starting my ML8255 kit and will have tons of questions along the way. This will be the first scale hydro I have built from wood and only the second wood boat overall. The first being a Dumas .20 tunnel. The pictures are what I have so far.

First question, I see where most break the bottom skin at the no.5 bulkhead. Can/should I do the same with the 1/4" sticks or do they need to stay 1 piece?

I would suggest cuttung them with a razor and leave about 1/16" uncut so they will stay together more easily.

Ok thanks Mike. Once I start gluing should I start at the transom and work my way forward? Do I need to have the front bottom skins on before I take it off the jig?
