i`m getting alot of air leaking around the header flange to adapter to exhaust stub. how critical is this? searched, found nothing. if it needs to be sealed, what are you guys useing? tnx.

Carter yes it has to be sealed i have those setups on my all my tunnels and they make a good seal ill get you the name.

Seal it for sure... Had a bud run his with a leak, turned to lean and now he is looking for a sleeve and piston....
 
thanks for the help guys. i`m going to use permatex high temp copper rtv. if you know of something better, let me know.

Probably should sand the header flange flat and check the exhaust stub before just putting RTV on it, it will eventually leak again if it's not flat and mated to the stub... Just my two cents.
