I am in the process of Converting a 45 size Eagle SG to outboard power. I have removed the original transom and added to the rear radio box bulkhead to use it as the transom. The powerhead is facing forward with the pipe inside the radio compartment. The radio gear will go in the engine compartment. The fuel tank location is my problem. I would like to mount the fuel tank in the normal spot at the front with a hopper tank near the motor. Any thoughts on this would be welcome. I plan to use this boat only for record trials. I have three powerheads I plan to use, Novarossi .46, Mac .67 and an OPS .80. It's about time to see a fast outboard outrigger burn up the water!
