last year my brother saw a dumas CC hull on E bay ,not painted 90% built,he told me he was bidding on it ,I told him to ask the guy if it was coated (water proof)on the in side.the sell told him yes,well he won the bid for $216.00 with an extra cowl,when it arrived the boat wasn't built that good, but not horrible,so I took off the decks so I could get some of the twist out of it and tripchine was wavy,the seller did coat the inside but not very well,I think thats really why I took of the decks to check if it was coated, It need the other fixes anyways,the boat was well worth the money,so I revamped the hull, seeing this was my 4th wood scale I had a better Idea of what I was doing.
Now she's all done did the plumming today,just need his radio to finish up. plan on first run Saturday.
