Usually 60% is slower because it is more dense. A full 8 oz tank will weigh around 1/4 oz more than a full tank of 50%. Try some 30% and you can pull more prop, less weight on the transom.
Interesting. I will say I would never run over 50 % in my OS due to the fact it has a nickel plated sleeve.

We ran 66% in all 20 nitro engines. Most don't need any water cooling when run as outboards. The tower unit is a great heat sink. OS finally accepted this with their latest engines. Even lower head clearance than Glenn's .006" can be tried. No one believed Mark Anderson's OS was stock at the 2006 NAMBA Nationals. A lot of people watched the teardown. It had no modifications other than removing the head shim. The rest was prop and setup.
