CMB 45 rebuild

hellow all new member looking for help on my CMB 45 pulled the front cover off and the disk dropped out don't know witch way it should go you would think at TDC it would be closed it can go one way and 180 the other any help please Thanks mikebreslin

What you are looking for, is for the intake to open on the up-stroke of the piston.

Just place your pieces back together (without the screws) and rotate engine in correct rotation. looking through the

intake, your disc should be opening as the piston is going up
