I thought I would pass on some good info on a technique when using my Boris meter. I have had some problems with inconsistent readings and thought the meter had a problem. Greg Roth gave me a tip to always flow with the glow plug out and the piston bottomed out (so the ports are uncovered). Since I started doing this my numbers are super consistent. At the UNW race in Monroe yesterday it was cool, overcast and there was a lot of moisture in the air and the day slowly changed in the afternoon to a warm and sunny and the humidity dropped (according to my air density meter). By following the new technique I was able to stay dead nuts on the tune throughout the day despite the atmospheric changes. I even had to change motors due to a broken throttle arm on an OS9B carb to a motor with a CMB carb and never lost the tune.
