This is one of the boats im working on at the moment,its 29 inches wide and 56 inches long not including the wing . Its epoxy glass with balsa in the wing pieces and cowl. I still have some work to do on mounting the wing pieces. Its a model of an Australian boat built in 1984 which was designed by Ron Jones.

Once the paint is on I will make molds of all of the parts.

Got some stripes on yesterday , all the red has to be outlined with yellow stripes ,then I can start o the hardware,windscreen,exhaust stacks etc.

Thanks Wayne, I've started masking up and painting the yellow pinstripes by hand, Im using some hobbypoxy yellow that I.was given,the color tin has started to thicken up, I'm not sure ifthis brand is sold here anymore,.does anyone know if it can be thinned,or should I throw it out.?

Hi Scott, Hobby Poxy stopped making hobby epoxy paint some 15, 20 years ago, The color (part A) should still be good but I would not use the catalyst (part
default_cool.png
. If you use part B to mix the paint, it may still cure but it will not be fuel proof anymore. I learned the hard way.

KlassKote is compatible with HobbyPoxy. If you must use the color tin, buy the KlassKote catalyst and thinner.
