Got a buddy having a hard time programming the BeastX system, anyone know about these?

Quite a bit yes, they’re an absolute nightmare if you don’t have the usb programming cable for them - the flashing lights / button combination is a right pain to deal with.

I've done a microbeast many years ago using the led-codes. It's not too bad if you've setup a heli before. Yes, get him on here and let's see what the issue is.

Edit: I nearly forgot. The late, great Ron Lund has several YouTube videos detailing the MicroBeast setup. RIP Ron. All of his videos are great. A true Modeler.
