Hats off to each and every driver that participated at the Internats this week. The level of competition was off the charts. Every heat was an absolute battle.

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to the Huntsville model boat club for hosting this event. The hard work by the club members is very much appreciated.

I am already looking forward to the next one.

Is there a place to view the entire results? Like SAW, 2lap, heat racing heat boat seeding and results from heat, final points talley and placing, podium pics?? Type of boat and motors, props?

They all have been trashing up there for 12+ days not counting all the time spent before that getting ready for the event. The wind and sun had taken its toll on everybody by the time Saturday rolled around but they were still making sure everything was getting done. I think that once people get back home and get rested up, maybe some pictures will start to pop up.

The drone coverage for this race was covered by Pat and was great. The drone he used was a Mavic Pro available from DJI and the blades were upgraded with Master Screw anti vortex tipped blades. Pat said that the Master Screw blades are a little more efficient than the stock blades and increases battery life. They also make the drone much quieter than it comes out of the box. I walked within 5 feet of it hovering at about 8 feet off the ground and never heard it. The drone is designed like a transformer and folds up to the size of a beer mug (with the blades still attached) and when flying in heavy wind it was steady as a rock. It is a really cool drone that has an adapter bracket that mounts your cell phone to the controller so that you can see what the video camera is recording in real time and cool programmable way point options for repetitive surveillance pattern flights for watching property or scouting land for hunting. THANKS Pat for providing the great videos from the air.

Thanks to all the people who gave their time for this race and to the sponsors that gave huge prizes for the winners. There were some very happy winners of brand new Nova Rossi engines donated by Ron Shaw and other prizes as well.
