I used it on a mono I had. I only had 1 small one just before the carb and it worked good. The engine had enough air and I never got water in through it. They aren’t as affective as the scoops but there is much less drag and you don’t get much water in them. I don’t know about the petrol boats...

I am looking at using some Kevlar or CF on a boat and have got a few questions about it. Which is easiest to cut when it’s dry the Kevlar or CF? How do you cut them? How strong are both materials are compared with 1/16 ply? Which would you say is better? Thanks Bruce
