thank you on that. i gotta say man.. i learn something everytime im on this site. pretty savvy bunch of folks.. also, drilled out each of my k&b outdrives with a .0380 bit to service the tube and shaft. good call there too.
would anyone know what direction the bearings go ino the PTO section of my 3.5 k&b motor? just recieved new ones from Mecoa and it looks as ifd thgey only have seals on one side. i was concerned about them being lubricated properly.. also, do they get greased prior to installation?
i am aware of the cost.. i will sell a couple bikes to get it if i have to. ( got too many anyways). i was just thinking it would work. if u you tube 1/8 scale turbine hydro theres a couple promising videos. i figure i will have about 10K into it by the time its done..
im thinking i will build this scale hydro. 156-D 8808 92" Tide.( Lucero sponson).
if i can afford it i want to put a turbine in it. Is there any clear advantages of going with 1/8 or 1/10? big difference in cost? Thanks in advance for your input guys....
sounds like u know better than i do. keeping in mind that im an exceptional pilot but havent had a boat since i sunk my prather 3.5 tunnel after hitting the wall ( due to lost radio signal.) back in '93!.. also i dunno how much difference it will make but i will primarily be running in...
when u say edges are you just referering to sponson insides, no chine toe, and the 90 degrees at transom? i think i have the tunnel im building right, but i'll take any advice i can get!
