Hey Jerry - That TT of Greg's is a 12mm crank version. It will eventually get all the business, but for now she's "stokkk" (can't say that word!)

MJ will have his TS2/OS there too.

As for me - no idea what I'll have there yet.

Paul i know its hard for you to get to most meets as it is most of us but if we can arrange to all get to Penrith a few times together we can get a good idea on where we are all at as Grims boat is Obviously the bench mark.

Dave (riggermortise) has one too Jerry! So thats 4 TT's that I know of, and I had a guy come and tell me he's building 2 of them when I was racing on the weekend just gone.

We might have another 3.5 O/B tunnel at Sydney too shortly - another MBCofNSW club member has been talking to me about building one - possibly a Villain if he can get one for the right price.

Go the A O/B tunnels!

Hi Tim, This machinist has a "Okuma", "Okumo", "Kumo", something like that,,high speed CNC lathe.

He would rather make at least 20 each volume,, he don't want to make just a few.

I sorta backed off a little, not sure if I was gunna be able to utilize that many,,the more he makes the cheaper they get for each.

You had a suggestion on what type of aluminum would be best for buttons,, can You Tim, or anybody else give me some advise on this matter?

I'm told 2021 is the best for buttons - whether there is any benefit to it - no idea? Make 'em a tight fit in the sleeve

Get 20 of the smallest volume ones and they can be modified later to increase the volume ;-)

I had to make'm fit in the sleeve with a "skinny loop" of 600grit and some oil, they can only get'm so close with the machine. Same operation at the top too that the water head fits,, I'm gunna have to get-on-it and get them to the guy and let him make little "plug mold's" so he can scan it with his "smart"machine to see if the volumes are correct. These new guy's are an "exacting bunch",,course they all have been in the beginning
