I started this the day after I got back from the Gas Nats! It’s definitely moving right along. Made some changes to the kit to give me a larger center section to make balancing the boat as well as access to everything much easier. I’m real happy with the results so far. Looking forward to seeing what she will do.

ML 8255 kit
Will be set up for both 10s and 8s depending on where I’m racing it.

Busting that one out!

Yea, I’m getting a handle on building the 8255 hulls. This is number 4 for me, 3 1/6th scale boats and this 1/8th scale. I have 3 more to build tho! lol

I just about got this one done right before the Gas Nats. I have a few minor things left to do then hit it with paint.

Couple more pics of the elec 1/8th scale. I should get the cowl in the next day or so. Once I get it fitted and mounted, I’ll be done with building this hull. Just have to rig it and go look for som FE guys to play with!

I’ve gotten the 1/6th scale cowls from Steve at RC Boat Company. He also make them in 1/8th. I have also gotten both the 1/8th and 1/6th from Phil Thomas. The one for my elec boat is coming from Phil.

Great Work! I am amazed and jealous you can build so quick and such a nice build at the same time!
I probably have close to 40 hours in this 1/8th scale so far. I work on it for a couple hours then work around the house/farm while glue is drying. I do that about 3 or 4 times a day starting around 7:30ish am and I just walked in at 10:43 pm. I have about 6 more boats to build after this one. 3 Gas scales, a P Sport hydro, a 1/10th scale and another 1/8th scale elec epoxy hull for a friend.
It keeps me focused!! lol
